Joel Hans Embiid is a Cameroonian professional player for the National Basketball Association's Philadelphia 76ers team. After a year of college basketball with Kansas Jayhawks, he was drafted with the third pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by 76ers. Multiple foot and knee injuries delayed his debut for two seasons until 2016-17, when he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team of the Season despite playing just 31 games. Embiid received four All-Star options. He dubbed himself "Process" in response to advice from 76ers fans during Sam Hinkie's day to "believe in the process."
